CRECON R&C operates on the corporate principles of trust, gratitude, and giving back. We build up trust with the providers of information, primarily consisting of pharmaceutical distributors, and with the consumers of our information and services, primarily consisting of drug manufacturers. We also express gratitude for that trust and strive to give back to the industry that supports our work. These principles form the standards of conduct that guide the actions of our employees.
The services we provide focus on providing and improving our customers' value, and help contribute to the creation of a sustainable health care system.
CRECON Research & Consulting was established in 1955 as Japan's first research organization for the pharmaceutical industry. Its goal is to use industry-specific knowledge, amassed over many years, as well as cutting-edge technologies, to create a health care sector that achieves both high quality and high productivity. As we focus foremost on helping information providers, especially pharmaceutical wholesalers, we contribute to the ongoing development of excellent systems and pharmaceutical distribution processes.
Role 1: Help improve value
We help raise awareness of pharmaceutical distribution as part of the health care infrastructure, and improve its value. We will continuously implement and strengthen activities to facilitate the widespread dissemination, through various means, of the value of pharmaceutical wholesalers as part of that infrastructure.
Role 2: Help improve productivity
We use information and systems to help improve productivity, whether of individual companies or of corporate partnerships. By offering information and infrastructures that have to be shared, we help improve the efficiency of the pharmaceutical industry.
Role 3: Support proof of correctness
We help prove the value of pharmaceuticals and support the proof of correctness of health care expenditures. Having worked in the field of pharmacoeconomics since 1993, we established CRECON Medical Assessment in August 2014 and began offering services in the field of pharmacoeconomic analysis.
We offer database services focused on the sale, distribution, and marketing of medical pharmaceuticals.
We provide guidance on applying the PDCA cycle using those databases, and help customers proceed smoothly to the next steps of the cycle.
By helping customers continuously use this database, we provide full-scale support for a comprehensive implementation plan that goes beyond mere data analysis.
Social Contributions to the Pharmaceutical Industry
We are working with everyone in the industry to fulfill our social role in creating a thriving society that offers peace of mind.
